Abstract
A diver propulsion vehicle DPV, also known as an underwater propulsion vehicle or underwater scooter is an item of equipment used by scuba diving and rebreather divers underwater to increase diving range. Simulation studies produce data in the form of comparison between DPV without tunnel, with side tunnel, bottom tunnel. The results are presented as data containing surface pressure, environmental pressure, cut plot speed, and 3 dimensional flow velocity and drag force. From the data analysis, we found that the side tunnel design provide the overall best performance to achieve desired vehicle specification.
